Psyborg Initiation — the flagship transformation program debuting from Numinous Realm — launched today with 14 founding members from across the globe. Coming from all walks of life, these 14 members represent the first humans formally stepping into the “Age of Re-Enchantment” through a structured transformation process.
Similar to the 17th-century Enlightenment in Europe, Earth’s civilization is once again undergoing a profound cosmological shift in worldviews. These first 14 members are brave pioneers, bringing practical re-enchantment into their lives as an antidote to the suffocating limitations and half-truths of material reductionism. Beyond this, they will experience rapid growth in self-awareness and capacity as their personal development is guided by the same cosmic archetypes that have constellated humanity’s greatest moments throughout history — while fitting directly into their unique psychological signature using the theoretical personality framework developed by Dr. Richard Tarnas, under the mentorship of Dr. Stanislav Grof during their initial research at the Esalen Institute in the 1970s.
Numinous Realm was originally founded in 2016 as an extension of my graduate research at the California Institute of Integral Studies, driven by a question: how could the paradigm of a startup company be used to trigger planetary-scale transformation on the level of the Enlightenment — this time informed by ideas such as product-market fit and metrics optimization drawn from my surroundings in Silicon Valley? Since then, I have spent the past decade — joined in 2022 by my wife and fellow CIIS graduate, Somya Desai — ensuring that the implications of Archetypal Cosmology and re-enchantment could be introduced at scale to global culture and commerce without losing their numinous essence.
Psyborg Initiation therefore represents a new chapter for the company, as ten years of experimentation across fine art, financial markets, enterprise branding, technology development, scientific research, fashion design, transformative coaching, and media production are integrated into a singular three-month experience. This experience supports members through a powerful blend of education, coaching, and an AI platform called Psyborg.
Our unique provenance at Numinous Realm lies at the cutting edge of depth-psychology research, through the lineage of Dr. Stanislav Grof and Dr. Richard Tarnas, which places us in a distinctive position within the emerging world of AI tools for human flourishing. Our background includes not only psychological research, but also a metaphysical framework for how AI can meaningfully support contemporary human life — while consciously avoiding the “flattening effect” technology often imposes, reducing human beings to caricatures of depth.
As people reach the later stages of life, research consistently shows that their most pressing concern is whether they lived a life of authentic truth — a life true to their unique signature. The work Psyborg Initiation helps our members undertake is therefore among the most important work we could ever support humanity in doing — and, by extension, among the most valuable contributions any private organization can offer society.
